Movie perspective

How could you talk about the Southwest without mentioning John Wayne a.k.a. "The Duke". Saw this yesterday.  This sculpture depicts John Wayne as Rooster Cogburn charging towards the outlaws in an open meadow though the shadow hides his patch and facial features. A flash may have silenced this issue.
