Georgia O'Keeffe

Following lunch we hit one of Jane Anna's top priority locations.  The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum.  She move to Santa Fe in the late 1940's though she had been visiting New Mexico two or three times each year.  This move brought about new art as she stated "there were no flowers".  She collected bones and used in her art at times.

She is one of the most significant and intriguing artists of the twentieth century, known internationally for her boldly innovative art. Her distinct flowers, dramatic cityscapes, glowing landscapes, and images of bones against the stark desert sky are iconic and original contributions to American Modernism (https://www.okeeffemuseum.org/about-georgia-okeeffe/)
