1300-1400's

On the floor of the Frijoles Canyon you can see the village of Tyuonyi.  This village was inhabited by Pueblo people as were the cave dwellings above prior to the Spanish.  These people grew and dried corn, squash, and beans.  They hunted deer, rabbits, other mammals and birds.  They supplemented their diet with native plants
